FWF Princess Kaliah

Hello Fredericka,

I bought a Georgian Grande a year ago this past January. Her name was Princess Kilkea, but I renamed her Princess Kaliah. I am writing to tell you just how much I love this horse! She is the horse of a lifetime for me and I am so grateful to have found her. She has the sweetest disposition of any horse I've ever met, and she is a smart, quick learner on top of that. I already knew she was a beautiful mover of course!

I had her professionally started by my trainer, and I still board her from time to time at that barn to take advantage of their indoor arena. Everyone loves her at that barn--she is quite the little princess asking for attention from all the people there! When she is home with me, we take a lot of trail rides in addition to practicing dressage, and she is amazing when riding out. I can ride her out alone or with other horses and she does great either way. She is so careful and intelligent and happy to head out--a real delight to ride.

I really adore her, and I just wanted to let you know. I've attached two pictures of her--one is from her first show at the end of last summer, where we took third place in her first ever class. As you can see, she is quite the ham! And the other is a picture I took of her in the pasture. Someday, I hope to send you a video of us riding some upper level dressage! This is only her second full year under saddle and she is coming along so nicely. I am taking it slow and careful with her. I want to develop her correctly and take her as far as we both can go. Meanwhile, I am enjoying the journey with her more than I could have ever dreamed.

Best wishes,
Meg M.
